Request a report correction

Business records can be stale, incomplete, or matched to the wrong entity. We review specific, evidence-backed correction requests.

What to include

  • The report URL and exact field or finding you believe is incorrect.
  • The correct legal business name, jurisdiction, and registration number if relevant.
  • A direct official-record URL or document supporting the requested change.
  • Enough contact information for us to clarify the request.

What happens next

We compare the request with the matched entity and underlying public source. When the evidence supports a change, the report can be regenerated or corrected. Disagreement with a source does not allow us to rewrite that source; the originating registry or publisher may need to update its record first.

Important limitations

A correction request does not guarantee removal or a particular score. ProofReports does not accept payment to suppress accurate public information or change scoring treatment.
